Photography and winter are a bad combination. First reason...it's so cold I can't use my camera effectively without losing digits on my hands. Second...it snows, and in my preference there are nearly no ways to shoot good photographs in the snow. Third...no one wants to come out and play with me, and that's just a bummer ( Read more... )

We moved in just over a week ago, and I got my room painted last weekend thanks to a heroic effort on Jessica's part. After a long ass night and gtting to bed at 4:30am I was just woken up at 9:30am for some Lab managerial duties. Luckily I did not have to dress and go all the way over there, but nevetheless it was still 9:30am and I had only slept 5 hours. I guess I have to prepare to be in full time mode now. As of tonight I'm moving out of my parents' house for...as long as I want, most likely indefinitely. BJ, Brian, and myself move in the 31st, and that's that. I guess it's a bigger deal for me sinse I've lived here my whole life, but nonetheless we're all excited.

I have three weeks to prepare.
